The Toning Classes are varied and for people of all ages and abilities. The exercises are carefully selected to give you a safe and complete workout. In the class, there is a relaxed atmosphere where the participants can get to know one another.
In January 2000, Nora qualified as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Step Aerobic Instructor with the National College of Exercise and Health Studies. In 2002, She qualified as a Yoga Teacher with the IHCA. She also holds a National Qualification in Pilates Matwork and a National Qualification in Exercise and the Older Adult from the National Training Centre in Dublin.
She has been involved in teaching classes for the MS Society, Nursing Homes and Community Centres as well as running her own classes in Glasnevin, Killester, Raheny and Clontarf.
A full body workout is offered during the hour. There is a good mixture of different types of exercises: Aerobic warm up, pure Toning Exercises, Resistance Training, Pilates, Breathing, Yoga Stretches and Relaxation. The exercises are quiet easy to follow but also easy to perform and alternative exercises are given to people with already existing injuries (sore back, neck, knee, foot, etc…). Nora also provides mini programs for anyone who wishes to train at home. The routine and the music are changed every week which makes it more challenging and enjoyable.
Nora’s priority is to ensure that everyone learns how to perform the exercises with the correct technique so clients can achieve their goals and enjoy their workout.
